I’m Claire, an assistant stylist and interior designer based in Kent. I am mad about all things interiors and have written an interiors blog (which you can find on my website) for 8 years and most recently, I launched my interior design business, Claire Parkin Interior Design.
I’m proud to say that I work as an intern for the wonderful Emma Morton-Turner, at Inside Stylists. I write content for for the Inside Stylists blog; create moodboards for the site and also assist in promoting all the lovely interior stylists, assistants and writers that we have here at Inside Stylists. Most recently, I’ve been working on the #StylistsArmy weekly posts on Instagram.
I’m very happy to travel and have my own car and clean driving license. I am highly motivated, organised and, I like to think, quite a happy person who is positive to be around! I’m calm under pressure and good at solving problems. Also like all assistant stylists, I am amazing at making tea and baking goodies for shoots 🙂
I have experience creating online crafting content for Laura Ashley and styling blog posts for Cox and Cox and Achica. I also have experience in writing and copy editing as I worked as a primary school teacher and then a University lecturer for 15 years.
So far I have assisted Emma Morton-Turner, Selina Lake and Gemma Gear on both editorial and commercial shoots.
