Yvette Murrell

Hi, I’m Yvette – a writer and editor specialising in homes and interior design.

My first steps into interior journalism came several years ago when I joined the team at specialist consumer magazine Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms, which is where my love for home design began to truly flourish. I worked on the title in a variety of positions, before being appointed as Features Editor on Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom magazine, further cementing my voice as an expert in the three core rooms of our homes.

Now based in Bristol, I continue to write about interiors across both digital and print formats for a range of consumer titles, including Homes & Gardens and Livingetc.com. I am available for editorial projects (writing, editing and sub-editing), as well as copywriting (press releases, blog posts and brochures). I also have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of social media marketing, having worked with a number of small and medium-sized businesses to advise on growth and engagement, producing successful strategies and creative content for their budding online presences.
