Freelance Interior Stylist, Writer & Author
A life-long interiors obsessive, London-based stylist and writer Joanna’s first foray into the industry during the mid-noughties saw her assisting some of the most renowned stylists at the time. A decade later, she now counts them as her peers and continues to work on her own projects spanning interiors, still life and lifestyle styling and prop/craft production, as well as trend forecasting and feature writing. Whilst specialising in stills, she has also produced content for film (TV and online) and regularly styles events for press launches and corporate functions. Her clients range from editorial (Country Homes & Interiors, Good Homes) to commercial (HomeSense/TK Maxx, Tesco, Dulux) and online (WGSN-lifestyle).
Her first book, Home for Now: making your rented flat or first home beautiful (CICO Books) was released worldwide in April 2014. Inspired by her own experiences of over a decade of renting, it combines practical and inspirational advice for both renters and cash-strapped first time buyers. Detailing how to turn a temporary living space into a beautiful home, it regularly features within the top 100 interiors books on Amazon.
