Following a great career in interiors mags I now wear several hats juggling editorial development, writing, illustration and art, plus the occasional craft make and some teaching too.

I love a creative challenge and am happiest combining my editorial and art skills to deliver projects that are stylish, creative and sound. Here’s a snapshot of work over recent years:

• Development Editor for Hachette Partworks creating new projects and magazines in craft, food and wellbeing.

• Interiors writer at John Lewis The Edit, delivering weekly content on all things home including the launch of the ANYDAY brand and big Christmas features driving audience engagement on the home page through December.

• Features, house stories and supplements for most of the big name interiors titles: Homes & Gardens, Ideal Home, Country Homes & Interiors, Real Homes, Living Etc, Good Homes, Grand Designs. Before going freelance I was Features Editor at Homes & Gardens and Editor of Beautiful Kitchens (print and online).

• On the art side, I graduated in Contemporary Portraiture from Art Academy London in 2018 and now teach there on the short courses programme – mostly beginners, young artists and workshops for corporate clients. Come and do something creative if you fancy it.

• I exhibit my art regularly and I also do illustrations in good old fashioned analogue coloured pencil and watercolour. I’m always happy to loan work for shoots so just give me a shout.
