Interior Stylist/ Prop Stylist/ Prop Maker/Set Designer
I am a London based stylist with a decade of experience. I bring more than a dash of creativity to whatever project I’m working on; be it location and studio shoot styling, designing and installing sets, press show set ups, prop making, prop sourcing and styling for digital films including stop motion film.
Clients include: Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Paperchase, Hobbycraft, Laura Ashley, Sainsbury’s, Harper Collins and Hodder & Stoughton.
I came to styling with a background in textiles, following a First Class Degree from Winchester School of Art. In addition to styling I regularly make props for my own shoots and to commission for companies and magazines such as Elle Decoration, Vogue and Cath Kidston. I enjoy working sculpturally with paper & fabric and have found prop making has drawn upon new techniques and manipulation of other materials.
I’ve designed and made large-scale installation displays for Design Centre Chelsea Harbour and the window display of Stressless, Tottenham Court Road Store. I also style press show events for companies including Debenhams and George.
Over the years I have worked with and built up a database of industry contacts, from photographers, set builder, prop houses and locations to PRs and suppliers- an invaluable resource for completing any job with ease!
My love of colour, materials and ephemera drives my styling creativity… and adds to my groaning loft of props! I pride myself on being practical, pragmatic and resourceful with a “hands on” approach.
