Introducing Kagu interiors

Don’t you just love it when you find a new to you interiors brand that is just delicious?

That’s what it was like when I discovered Kagu.

The name ‘Kagu’ comes from the Japanese word for ‘house makings’ or furniture and it fits perfectly with what you’ll find as you walk through the door. Located in Tenterden in Kent, KAGU Interiors is a design-led boutique stocking incredible homewares which have been sourced from all over the world.  They have a natural, soft welcoming feel as they work with only the very best materials and designers to offer a curation of beautifully crafted furniture, lighting, ceramics and home accessories in a range of earthy tones. I mean – just look at these shots below!!!  Don’t you just want everything? I mean those striped Cashmere desert chairs are made from 53 recycled bottles. How “now’ is that?

The founder Ben Stokes started the company in 2017, after wanting to showcase his own hand-crafted furniture. As a furniture maker and interior designer, he evolved the store to offer customers a selection of unique and design-led homewares in his signature look.

Two years later Kagu now also has an Interior Design service and customers can create one-off bespoke pieces of furniture for their homes. Perfect for photoshoots and homes alike!
