Interior Photographers are coming to Inside Stylists

And we couldn’t be happier about it!

Yes, you asked and we answered. We are now inviting Interior photographers to be part of the Inside Stylists Community. Wanna know why it’s taken us this long?

When I started Inside Stylists I had a plan. I wanted to build it into an industry leader within the Interior shooting and writing world. I wanted it to be a place where Interior Stylists, Writers and Assistants could find all the resources, links, and connections we need, get found for new work and most of all build it into the most supportive community ever! But photographers weren’t part of that plan. You see I always thought photographers had it covered. They have their websites. They have the AOP and most of their work comes from word of mouth – right?

What happened next

All of that is true. But it’s also true for us interior stylists, writers and assistants as well – well, without the AOP bit it is. And slowly but surely I started getting emails

“Is there any way I can join Inside Stylists as a photographer?”

As the saying goes – when you get asked the same question three times there’s a need there. And so there was. I’ve had so many emails and messages asking how photographers can connect with our community? How they can link up to do shoots with our stylists? How they can be part of the gang. And now they can.

But there’s another good reason to share Photographers too!

As well as the photographers wanting to join there was the other side of it. There’s the Interior designers who are constantly asking me for recommendations for photographers to shoot their projects, the stylists asking for someone to shoot a house near Leeds, or for an assistant photographer to do a test shoot with. Basically, we NEED more photographers in our lives so I am adding photographer profile pages to Inside Stylists from Monday .

Who can join?

If you’re a Photographer or a Photographer’s assistant who works within Interiors, Architecture, food, or product photography for Editorial or Commercial shoots we are looking for you!

As with the Interior Stylist and Writer members of Inside Stylists, all new profiles will be verified so as long as you’ve been a professional photographer and worked on at least three shoots as the lead photographer and not as the assistant you can be added to the Photographers profile page. If not you can still be added to the Photographer Assistant page till you have the relevant experience.

What you get as a Photography member of Inside Stylists

First and most importantly you get to have a profile page where you can share all your contact details, social media accounts so future clients know how to find you.
You can share a mini portfolio on your profile page – up to 100mb.
You’ll be added to the private members-only Facebook group – The Insider’s Hub where all the job requests are shared. They’re shared via Email too.
