Inside Stylists Loves: Halloween. It’s fun, fabulous and totally spooky
Okay, I’ll fess up right from the start- I’ve got a bit of a Halloween obsession. But with a birthday on 31st October, can you blame me? Pumpkins, ghosts, bats, and yes, the odd glittery spider tend to sneak their way into my styling at this time of year. That might explain why this week’s Inside Stylists Loves is unapologetically Halloween-themed. But I don’t think you’ll mind one bit. After all, it’s the one time of year we can stock up on sweets under the guise of “trick or treat” prep – or is that just in my house?
Either way, whether you’re styling a spooky shoot, planning a playful Halloween table, or just love a seasonal styling moment, here’s a fun, stylish, and ever-so-slightly spooky round-up to get you in the Halloween spirit.
Spooktacular bunting
When I say paper bunting, you probably think cutesy flags full of flowers. Not with Rocket St George! This brand is always ahead of any trend and makes everything more classy – even paper bunting. We love the mix-and-match styles for decorating inside and out. Easy to put up as they are soooo lightweight
Velvet pumpkin wreath
Are you a “must have a seasonal wreath on the door at all times kinda person”? Yea, me too. This one is so cute. The pretty little velvet pumpkins are for the whole of autumn not just for Halloween.
A jug for all seasons
This is the easiest way to give back AND have the perfect jug for halloween. It’s stylish design will look great right up till the 31st and you’ll be supporting the charit Tenovus cancer care and were totally here for that!
Perfect plush
I’ve had my eye on this set of 9 plush pumpkin decorations for a while now. They’re the perfect size for decorating your entrance and beyond. The sizes go from cute to mega cute and the muted tones are chefs kiss!
Joyous Jumpers
Did you know you can still get your hands on Wilko’s fabulous designs online? They always had a great selection for pets in store and now your pooches can still be the catwalk envy of every doggo in the park with their fun range of dog jackets and jumpers.
Super soup
Is there ever a better time to make a delicious pumpkin soup? We think not! The Morphy Richards Clarity Soup maker makes it a quick and easy supper. With all the recipes being shared right now it’s a must!
One for sorrow
Oh, hang on. That’s for magpies not crows isn’t it? So this creepy, rattan, light-up crow is safe to be seen all through October. He’s spectacularly spooky. We think you need a few to dot around the house to create sinister corners. Perfect for Halloween night

Paw and Pumpkins
What a perfect name for this range by Sophie Allport. The whole collection is super cute. You won’t be able to resist the ceramics or the tea towels, placemats, bags and aprons. This is halloween for grown ups!

All year round scaring
I adore terracotta pumpkins. I bought one a few years ago and light it up outside my patio doors all through October. The thing about terracotta is it just gets better with age. Mine now has green moss in the grooves. Totally fabulous.

Are you ready to cause a stir?
It’s really difficult to not share an Emma Bridgewater mug in this feature (because I have an unhealthy – “if my tea isn’t in one then it won’t taste right” obsession, but I resisted so I could share some of the huge range available this year.) The baking dishes, tea towels and plates are available in a number of spooky designs – but as I’m a clumsy person I love a tray so here you are.
Ooooooohhhhhhhh
You can’t have halloween without ghosts, now can you? These are from Lights4Fun and let me tell you – their range is HUGE! Whenever I go on Press Loft to find good images for features, they ALWAYS have something that will fit the bill, whatever the feature! They must be shooting all the time (which is great by the way – keep it up you guys!)

How much?
Poundland have a great range for Halloween this year. Their mini pumpkins, candles and skulls will sell out fast so go get ’em while you can. Buy the way – they have recently re-jigged their pricing points, so nothing will be above £2, so if you’re on a budget, they are your one stop shop.

Spellbound in Style
Speaking of ghosts, how incredibly pretty is this bedding? It’s not often you can say ghosts and pretty in the same sentence but when it comes to French Bedroom that’s exactly what you get. If you’re looking for a season halloween look, this is the one’s for you.

Floating fun
The design of these floating lights are more dinner party than Great Hall from Harry Potter. There are 10 in the set, so there’s plenty to go around -whether you want to decorate for Halloween, Christmas or just for fun. Where would you hang yours?

Shhhh, wanna know a secret?
If you promise not to tell anyone, I’ll tell you an inteiror stylist secret. We prop in The Range. Want to know why? It’s becasue whoever is doing their buying is doing a cracking job. The homewares are on trend, look fab – in a way more expensive than than they are kind a way and they make our props budget go so much further. Take this cushion for example. It’s a pretty colour, fab design and under a tenner! But be prepaired to spend more than you intend when you pop in for just one item!
