Jess Contomichalos

I am fortunate enough to have been working in this area almost all my adult life…..I started sweeping the floor in a studio and ‘styling’ the photographer’s lunches (aka going out and buying sandwiches!). I slowly moved from cleaning the studio to becoming  his stylist (learning my trade from his very experienced in-house stylist). I have also worked full time for several interiors magazines (so I understand what makes good editorial content) and freelanced and enjoyed both in equal measure, I write features and blog posts too but styling is my real passion.

I can come up with ideas and mood boards for clients but I’m also happy to make the Art Directors brief a reality – in this industry it’s important to listen and make someone else’s vision become a tangible thing that blossoms into a visual feast…..there is nothing more satisfying than ‘getting it right’- a happy client means a very happy stylist!
