Hi, I’m Eleanor,
I’m a freelance stylist assistant, based in London, with experience on editorial and commercial shoots. I’m keen to help you out with anything you need – from research and production to making a fresh pot of coffee on set!
I’m fairly new to this, having recently left years in marketing in publishing behind to pursue a career that feels more ‘me’.
So far I’ve assisted on some very busy shoots, including with Hannah Franklin for Living Etc, and with Lucy Gough on her recent Christmas shoot for John Lewis. I therefore understand the organisation, quick thinking and resourcefulness necessary on location. I’m primed to put in the sheer man hours to make a shoot a success!
I’m also a student on Lucy Gough’s styling course, which means I have an invaluable insight into the ins and outs of the work of a stylist, and am ready to hit the ground running.
Having spent years in marketing, I’m used to prioritising and juggling lots of projects at once.
I’ve also dabbled in writing and editing along the way, (as part of my marketing career and independently), and I have just started my own interiors and lifestyle blog (general-eclectic.co.uk). I can definitely lend a hand if you need any help with websites, email newsletters, blogs or similar .
Hope to say hello in person at some point!
