Hello, I’m Bella,
My first styling experience started when I was part of a team curating a multi-disciplinary exhibition for the Fashion Space Gallery, I was thrown in at the deep end, and absolutely loved every aspect of it. Collaborating with a multitude of different experts in their creative fields, forming a concept, creating props within a budget, & testing + considering the longevity of materials for the set design.
Since graduating with a Textiles: Print Design degree; I have assisted on editorial shoots for magazines such as Country Homes & Interiors, Woman & Home. I have also grown commercial assisting experience through high-street brands & event product launches.
Alongside styling, I invest a lot of time into ‘Yesterday Today’ an online vintage homeware + clothing store, specialising in the reworking of vintage textiles. This venture has helped me grow contacts for sourcing materials and objects, as well as indulge my love for styling and telling a story. I especially enjoy the challenge of bringing cohesion between miscellaneous items, which happens regularly when your working with vintage pieces! I have also become very inventive in styling a shoot in a small space, with not much of a budget.
I am based in South West London, & happy to commute. I also have a UK driving license.
