Hello, I’m Bella,
My background lies in textiles print design which is what I have a degree in. Since graduating I leaned towards the world of styling as I felt it encompassed all my creative passions. I have editorial and commercial assisting styling experience. Working for interiors led magazines such as Country Homes & Interiors, Woman & Home. As well as experience working with high-street brands & event product launches.
I have also been involved in the curation of a textile exhibition which was an interesting contrast to my other styling jobs. As the materials had to stand for several months therefore, we had to test and consider the longevity of materials for the set design. This was a collaboration with a multitude of different experts in their creative fields. My involvement included forming a concept, making props, constructing the set layout/design.
Alongside styling, I invest a lot of time into ‘Yesterday Today’ an online vintage homeware + clothing store, specialising in the reworking of vintage textiles. This venture has helped me grow contacts for sourcing materials and objects, as well as indulge my love for styling and telling a story. I especially enjoy the challenge of bringing cohesion between miscellaneous items, which happens regularly when your working with vintage pieces! I have also become very inventive in styling product in a small space, with not much of a budget.
I am based in South West London, & happy to commute. I also have a UK driving license.
